PLEDGE to make higher education accessible to all.
SOCIALIST party candidates for Congress and the Senate paid a visit to Almeria University recently.
They explained the measures they would bring in if socialist candidate Pedro Sanchez wins the general elections on December 20. Pamphlets were handed out and the candidates intereacted with many of the students.
Congress candidate Sonia Ferrer told students that the party wants all youths to have equal opportunities to access higher education, offering more grants and making payment plans for university fees more manageable.
She added that changes would be made to the education laws to improve services and make it easier to employ more teachers.
