No harm in looking good

MEN: Need to pamper their skin and hair too.

THERE’S nothing unmanly about wanting to look good, especially when you are getting ready for a big party night.

Some guys might not be willing to admit it, but men need to pamper their skin and hair. Maybe not as much as the ladies do, but depending on your lifestyle and job it might be necessary to use at least the most basic of skin care products.

Take a look at the market of products available for men and see what might help that dry, oily, flaking or irritated skin or scalp.

For example, did you know that a facial scrub can work wonders if you work in a dusty or dirty air environment but only remove what’s on the surface of your skin, whereas chemical exfoliants get deeper to remove more dead skin cells.

Here are a few products that you might find useful on a regular basis, you never know, you might find you’re invited to a few more parties.

Neutrogena Men Sensitive Skin Oil-Free Moisture SPF 30: This non-greasy formula has four chemical sunscreens that can protect against both types of harmful ultraviolet light – UVA and UVB rays – and help prevent everything from wrinkles to skin cancer.

Ahava Men’s Exfoliating Cleansing Gel: Good for guys with normal to oily skin, this scrub boasts aloe and ginseng to soothe and soften. Using it once a week can help prevent ingrown hairs that can result from shaving.

Gillette Foamy Sensitive Skin Shave Foam: It is basic, hydrating, lathers up well, and is scent-free to reduce skin irritation.

CeraVe Moisturising Lotion: This non-greasy lotion contains hyaluronic acid to draw moisture into the skin, plus ceramides, lipid molecules that help maintain skin’s moisture barrier.

If you have a specific issue, or any questions regarding products and what they can do, ask your local chemist, they will be happy to help.
