Walk with Anemona this Sunday

ANEMONA is organising a fund-raising charity walk in Altea this Sunday (March 6).

The association is a support group for women who have, or have had, cancer and the walk is entitled “Altea camina amb tu” (Altea walks with you).

Walkers will gather in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento at 9.30 am, where marchers will get a good send-off with “batucada” drummers.  The €5 charge for taking part includes a t-shirt, fruit and water.

The route will follow the Camino Verde as far as the Camino Hondo crossroads and continue to Altea la Vieja before returning to the Tuesday market site.

Here Altea Catering will prepare a giant paella at popular prices and there will be games, activities and a bouncy castle for the children.
