Antique rings stolen
THREE people have been arrested in Velez Malaga for allegedly stealing jewellery and antique coins worth almost €2,500 and selling them to establishments that buy gold.
Following reports of the theft from a home in Velez, National Police officers began to investigate the victim’s acquaintances as no damage or signs of forceful entry were evident, and discovered that two thieves had been given access to the property and safe by somebody the victims knew.
Two men, aged 17 and 19, and a 51-year-old woman were later arrested, and the stolen goods returned to their rightful owners.
