MARC ANTHONY, the American singer, who was once married to Jennifer Lopez and is of Puerto Rican descent, has decided to include San Pedro Alcantara as part of his European tour, but ticketing is incredibly complicated depending on when you apply and where you live.

The concert itself will take place on July 9 at the San Pedro Football Stadium (which has previously presented David Guetta and at the end of July Armin van Buuren) and has an expected capacity of 15,000 people.

The cheapest tickets will cost just €30 and the councils of both Marbella and San Pedro will each be allocated a miserly 500 tickets for sale to registered voters, who have to apply between May 3 and May 13 to either Tourism Marbella or San Pedro Cultural Centre.

A further 2,000 tickets will be put on sale at 12am on April 28 at €45 via a link to a special site http://conciertomarcanthony.marbellaworlddj.com/ and the balance of tickets, which will cost between €60 and €150l can be purchased through usual outlets or from a ticket booth to be installed in the Avenida Jose Banus.
