Whilst the Positively Blue charity promotes the testing of men for possible prostate cancer in La Cala de Mijas all year round, November will see the UK promoting Movember when men are encouraged to grow a moustache and be sponsored to allow funds to be raised to help continue research into ways of defeating this disease.
Gibraltar is not lagging behind and on October 28, His Worship the Mayor Adolfo J Canepa OBE GMH M.P hosted a reception to celebrate the launch of the Prostate Cancer Campaign on the Rock with specially invited guests attending the Mayor’s Parlour at City Hall for a cup of coffee and to learn more about the month long fund raising event.
