THE Spanish national weather agency AEMET has issued severe weather warnings across much of the country.
There are currently orange alerts for significant snowfall in Huesca, Barcelona, Girona, Lleida, Madrid.
While yellow alerts for snowfall also cover Granada, Jaen, Teruel, Albacete, Cuenca, Guadalajara, Avila, Burgos, Leon, Palencia, Salamanca, Segovia, Soria, Zamora, Navarra, Caceres, Lugo, Ourense, Pontevedra, La Rioja and the Asturias.
Yellow warnings are also in place for high winds, rough coastal waters and heavy rainfall in other areas.
