AN ACCIDENT involving an articulated lorry in the south of Spain this morning led to a large tailback of traffic before it was safely removed from the carriageway.
The lorry and trailer overturned on the Malaga-bound carriageway of the A-7 at km 429 at Vicar in Almeria.
Three kilometres of tailbacks were reported as emergency services worked to remove the toppled vehicle.
The driver of the lorry was uninjured and made his own way out of the cab.
