NEW PREMISES: Roundabout Charity Shop in Javea Photo credit: Roundabout Charity Shop
THE move to the Roundabout Charity Shop in Javea has gone well, said Press officer, Barry Wicks. Meanwhile, they are going to make a further donation to the Red Cross to assist the organisation in fitting out their first-response ambulance, he recently told the Euro Weekly News. “We are organising a fashion show on November 23, when we will present a cheque to the Red Cross,” Barry said. This will be held at the shop in Carrer Joan Fuster in Javea Port where there will be Cava and Nibbles and a €1 entry fee. The Red Cross has also asked if the Charity Shop can help them further by assisting in the purchase of a car to replace the old one, which they use for their carers’ team. “Supporting the fashion show will go a long way towards our next goal,” Barry added.
