Almuñécar presented the prizes for the 2020 Adult Carnival Contest

The Carnival of Adults put the finishing touch to the events of 2020 organised by the Department of Festivities of the Town Hall of Almuñécar. The night began with the celebration of a parade. The carnival contest was held in the tent located in the Plaza de Kuwait.
The costumes awarded in the individual category were “Las Zebras” and “Batman and Superman”. In the category of groups of three to five members won “Pepe’s dolls” and “Scarecrows”. Finally, the winners of the groups of more than six members were “The crazy hatters”, “The Venice of Almuñécar” and “The corsairs to peazos“.
After the contest, a party was held with the RVFV, Ariel de Cuba, Chema Rivas, Camín and Abdón concerts, among other groups. The mayor of Culture and Festivities, Alberto García Gilarbert, who also dressed up for the occasion, congratulated the participants, as well as the Elenco Teatro group and other collaborators.
