Two new cases of Coronavirus detected in Madrid and one in Valencia raises the total in Spain to 14

Madrid and Valencia have confirmed a total of three new cases of infection of the Coronavirus. 

Spain has registered 14 positives in just three days which add to the first two infected, who were earlier discharged. It has been discovered a few days ago that it is possible to get infected twice after a Japanese woman thought to be cured has the disease again!

Of the new infected, four are from Tenerife, four in Madrid, two in Barcelona, ​​one in La Gomera, one in Valencia, one in Castellón and one in Seville.

11 have been infected in Italy, however, there are three cases still under investigation, but no link has been seen with Italy. Outside Spain, Saudi Arabia has temporarily suspended entry to pilgrims visiting the mosque of the Prophet Muhammad and the holy places of Islam in Mecca and Medina, as well as tourists from countries affected by the virus.

The Brazilian government announced on Wednesday its first case of Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, in Latin America, a 61-year-old man who lives in São Paulo and who had recently visited northern Italy.

Since Tuesday, the sum of infections outside of China exceeds the new daily infections in the country itself.

Chinese authorities reported on Thursday 440 new cases and 29 deaths. Of the total of 78,630 infections registered in the country to date, more than 80% have taken place in Hubei, province to which Wuhan belongs, where the outbreak occurred.
