TWO children were found alive in their home 3 days after their parents died in bed.
Children, 1 and 5, have been found alive in their flay in the Leningrad area of Russia three days after their parents ‘died from eating poisoned pickles’.
When a worried relative called after the family failed to turn up to a family gathering, the couple’s five-year-old daughter claimed her mum, 25, and dad, 30, had been “sleeping” for a long time, and that her dad had “turned all black”. She was in the flat with her 1-year-old brother.
Tragic Alexander and Viktoria Yakunin have been described by neighbours as the “perfect couple”.
Alexander’s sister Natalia, 36, rushed to the house and called emergency services.
“I ran in….and saw everything. I fell down and screamed,” she said.
News outlet 78.ru claimed that Alexander had been given a homemade jar of pickles by his grandmother the day before and that food poising was the cause of their deaths.
The two children are being cared for by Alexander’s father.
