The crash, which took place in Manilva on the Costa del Sol, has left one person dead.
According to Spanish newspaper Sur, the accident took place on the A-377 in Manilva when the driver of a car drove on the wrong side of the road.
The person who died, reportedly a 43-year-old German citizen, is thought to have driven their motorcycle on the wrong side of the road before colliding with another car driven by a couple in their 70s.
The motorcyclist was said to have been travelling between the town and Casares before the the accident took place after the person collided with a car.
The accident occurred on the A-377, one kilometre away from the motorway, on a road that links Manilva and Casares.
The deceased reportedly lost control on a curve, tried to regain the track and ended up invading the opposite lane, hitting the other vehicle involved.
A couple of about 70-years of age were in the other car, and trying to avoid the motorist, left the road and passed over a stony area until they managed to brake.
They did not need to be hospitalised, but suffered various minor injuries.
The emergency services were called and ambulances from Estepona came out. When officers arrived at the scene of the accident, the driver was still conscious although injured. While performing the first resuscitation manoeuvres, the mobile ICU arrived from San Pedro de Alcantara, which was brought out due to the severity of the injuries.
The motorcyclist had suffered several injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
The two occupants of the car did not need to be taken to hospital following the accident on the Costa del Sol.
