GMB fans want ‘ghastly’ presenter ‘permanently’ replaced. GMB fans were delighted when Martin Lewis took over on Monday’s show.

On Monday, March 21, fans were pleased when “ghastly” Richard Madeley was replaced by Martin Lewis for the day’s show. Some fans took to social media to call for Richard to be permanently replaced, according to BirminghamLive.

One GMB fan called Richard ghastly and said: “Pls pls pls can @martinlewis and @adilray be main @GMB presenters?? ! can’t watch Mon-Wed when ghastly, tactless, Toryboy Richard Madeley is on. He’s got no depth of knowledge and is unwatchable. The other two have empathy and interesting backgrounds.”

In another tweet, a fan said: “@GMB please keep Martin Lewis on the show permanently. He so informative and interesting, unlike other male presenters who just like the sound of their own voices!!”

A third fan commented: ” @GMB @MartinSLewis @susannareid100 Really measured, challenging and well-pitched interview with @sajidjavid So much better when Martin is there with Susanna. #GMB “.

Fans thought Martin did an excellent job. One person said: “GMB should have Martin Lewis presenting far more often especially when it comes to interviewing government ministers. Javid is not having an easy time this morning.”

Another social media user agreed and said: “Really, really enjoying @MartinSLewis on #GMB this morning. He’s money minded, so knows exactly the right questions to ask – I’m loving watching him make the Secretary of State for Health SQUIRM. Yes Martin.”

Richard recently spoke to The Sunday Times. He commented on being challenged by a viewer who did not like him. Richard said: “I remember once, on a perfect summer’s morning I was walking along the cliff near our house in Cornwall and as I came round a bend in the path I saw this large man coming towards me.

“He said, ‘I just want you to know that everything you’ve ever done, everything you’ve ever said, everything you ever will say or do, I loathe and despise.’”

His Agony Aunt answers on a certain newspaper are questionable – Martin would probably make a better job of that too!
