Iranian IRGC Intelligence Chief shot dead by protestors in Zahedan
As confirmed by the IRGC-affiliated Tasnim news, Ali Mousavi, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard intelligence chief of Sistan and Baluchestan province, was shot dead today, Friday, September 30, in the city of Zahedan in the country’s southeast.
According to the Governor-general of Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan, at least 19 people were killed and 20 others injured in today’s clashes in Zahedan.

Protesters and security forces had been involved in violent clashes all day in the city of Zahedan, where dozens were reportedly killed & wounded.

A statement from Iran’s Intelligence Ministry said: “We’re closely watching the foreign embassies whose agents have been involved, even to a small extent, in recent riots, and have warned the diplomats of the embassies of Germany, France, Britain, and Sweden, among others”

49 MEK agents were arrested on suspicion of organising terrorism, vandalism, and fabricated fake news to incite riots said the Intelligence Ministry. Another 77 agents of the Kurdish dissident groups Komala, KDPI, PAK, and PJAK, were also detained, including one of their senior commanders trained in US bases.

The Intelligence Ministry says it has also arrested 49 MEK agents who organized terrorism and vandalism and fabricated fake news to incite riots, 77 agents of Kurdish dissident groups (Komala, KDPI, PAK and PJAK) including one of their senior commanders trained in US bases.
Further arrests were made, including three leaders of Baha’i faith and two of their media agents, 92 supporters of the former Pahlavi monarchy. Five Takfiri terrorists who were discovered with 36 kilograms of explosives which were supposedly going to be used in terror attacks, were also picked up.
