Teulada-Moraira festive for San Vicente Ferrer

Teulada-Moraira joins in the vibrant and unique festivity to honour the Valencian patron Saint, San Vicente Ferrer.

Teulada-Moraira values the heritage of the Saint, having parts of the town named in his honour; the municipal celebration continues to unite the locals and visitors with exciting programmes.

On April 6, children will march the streets from 10am and engage in games from 11am. At 7pm, the community will gather for flower offerings to honour the Saint and follow the procession from Calle San Vicente to his hermitage.

April 7 will begin with another children´s march from 11.30am. A devotional mass will take place at 12pm and at 8pm the Saint´s figure will be carried in a procession to the Hermitage, illuminated by fireworks. At 10.30pm a musical show will be displayed in the Plaza de Constitucion, followed by live music from La Oreja de Van Gogh and Montecarlo.

On April 8; the official celebratory day, a procession to the Saint´s hermitage will begin at 11.15am, with fireworks beginning at 2pm. The day will be enlivened by singing hymns, processions and live music.

On April 9, a parade in traditional costumes will be held from 6.30pm, with refreshments and live music.

On April 10, a magic show will be performed in the Plaza Vi Centenari, beginning at 4pm.
Marking the end of the spectacular celebration, at 6.30pm, bulls and cows will walk through the streets of San Buenaventura, Valencia and Canonigo Valles.
