“A safe place to be, a good place to learn” is the logo of Den Norske Skole, which has been helping students and teachers to lead a motivated and internationally dynamic lifestyle since 1972.

Den Norske Skole Costa Blanca is the oldest and largest of all Norwegian schools abroad and a member of GNUF, the Association of Approved Norwegian Schools Abroad.

For more than 50 years, the school has welcomed Norwegian and international students and helped them to integrate into the local community in Costa Blanca.

With state support and the authorisation of the Norwegian authorities, the private school is owned by the Norwegian Foundation of Costa Blanca and follows a Norwegian curriculum.

Although lessons are taught in Norwegian, Norske Skole Costa Blanca values international diversity and is part of the UN and UNESCO´ ASP network, which regularly organises trips around the world.

The school is located in Alfas del Pi, a municipality with a large Norwegian population. The integration into the Costa Blanca community is smooth due to the municipality´s consistent efforts to support and involve the Norwegian community in Spain.

In March this year, Den Norske Skole Costa Blanca was recognised by the Espa Cultural Escoles Velles for its outstanding achievements in terms of cultural diversity and educational quality.
