Paella is a classic dish, synonymous with Spain’s cultural and historical identity. Did you even holiday in Spain if you did not indulge the delicacy? Every town has its own version, a special ingredient that sets it apart from the rest creating a unique and delicious speciality.
Now you can learn to make your own at home, putting your stamp on traditional tapas and Spanish cooking. Learn the secret to making the perfect plate of paella at Armony Beach Club’s Paella Cooking Experience on May 8.
What to expect from the paella workshop
The hands-on experience offers expert guidance from a professional chef. Use fresh, locally sourced ingredients to cook up a stunning plate of food. Both a meat and vegetarian version will be demonstrated during the class, giving guests a clear understanding of different approaches to the dish.
Participants will be guided step by step through preparation, cooking techniques, and timing, ensuring the paella develops its signature flavour and texture. The focus is on learning practical skills that can be recreated at home, making it a useful and enjoyable culinary session.
Beachside dining experience and four-course meal
Once the hard work is done, head out to a beachside terrace to enjoy a delicious four-course meal, including your paella creation. The relaxed setting allows guests to enjoy their food while overlooking the coast, turning the experience into a full afternoon of dining and socialising.
The menu is designed to complement the paella, with canapés served earlier in the session and a carefully prepared selection of dishes that highlight fresh, local produce, all washed down with a well-paired bottle of wine. The beachside atmosphere adds to the occasion, making it a memorable part of the experience.
Ticket details, price and charity support
Tickets to the gastronomic event cost €70 and include the cooking experience, a glass of cava upon arrival, canapés, a beachside lunch and half a bottle of wine. A donation from every ticket will be made to local animal charity PAWS-PATAS, supporting their mission to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home animals in the community.
Spaces are limited so do not miss out on this opportunity to take part in a unique culinary event while also contributing to a charitable cause.
