Some of the most colourful and creative professionals in the tattoo world will soon arrive in Almería for the fifth edition of the Almería Tattoo Convention. From June 12 to June 14, the Cabo de Gata Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones in El Toyo will host three days of live tattooing, competitions, workshops and entertainment, bringing together internationally renowned artists and thousands of tattoo enthusiasts from across Spain and beyond.

The 2026 event is expected to be the biggest edition yet, following the success of last year’s convention, which attracted more than 6,000 visitors and featured over 180 tattoo artists, with many travelling from countries including the United States, Mexico, Germany, Colombia and Cuba.

Activities already confirmed include a Lucha Libre wrestling show, motorbike exhibitions, falconry displays and even bungee jumping for thrill-seekers looking for something extra between tattoo sessions.

Organisers have also confirmed workshops and seminars aimed at professional tattoo artists wanting to develop new skills and techniques.
