One of Mallorca’s most traditional village festivals is set to return this July as Campanet prepares to celebrate the Festes de Sant Victorià 2026, with 12 days of entertainment, culture and community events.

Running from Wednesday July 1 to July 12, the annual festivities honour the town’s patron saint and will transform the streets of the picturesque inland village with concerts, theatre, sporting events, children’s activities and long-standing Mallorcan traditions.

Locals and visitors alike are expected to flock to the celebrations, which offer an authentic taste of village life away from Mallorca’s busy coastal resorts.

Correfoc lights up the streets

Among the biggest highlights is the XIII Campanet Correfoc on Friday, July 3, when fire-breathing demons, drummers and pyrotechnics take over the streets in one of the island’s most spectacular traditions.

The evening procession will feature local and visiting dimonis, accompanied by pounding drums, fireworks and dazzling sparks, creating a dramatic atmosphere that has become one of the festival’s signature events. Organisers advise anyone joining the route to wear long sleeves, long trousers, closed shoes and a hat for protection.

Something for every generation

The programme also includes live music performances, family entertainment, traditional dances, communal meals, cultural activities and sporting competitions designed to bring the whole community together.

One of the most popular sporting events is the XVI Cursa Sant Victorià, an 8.2-kilometre road race through Campanet on Saturday, July 4, alongside a non-competitive walking event and children’s races, ensuring all ages can take part.

With its blend of heritage, music and summer festivities, the Festes de Sant Victorià continue to showcase the strong community spirit that defines Campanet. Whether visitors come for the spectacular fire run, traditional celebrations or simply to enjoy the welcoming atmosphere, the festival offers a memorable glimpse into authentic Mallorcan culture.
