As the warm summer weather continues into September on the Costa Blanca, community members in El Campello will have a unique opportunity to beat the heat while supporting a vital cause for the furry friends in a local shelter. Non-profit animal rescue organisation Las Reinas del Biberón has officially announced its upcoming charity event, BiberSplash 2026, taking place on Saturday, September 5, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. This festive three-hour afternoon event combines family entertainment with community fundraising, with all the proceeds directly funding the animals at the shelter.
Refreshing summer fun at La Casa de las Reinas
The gathering will be hosted at the organisation’s venue, La Casa de las Reinas, situated at Calle Fra Joan Tensa 29 in El Campello. Open to attendees of all ages, including families, groups of friends, and local animal lovers, the afternoon is designed around an engaging summer water park theme. Guests can look forward to interactive water games, refreshing activities, lively music, and a cheerful atmosphere, offering an enjoyable way to spend a late-summer weekend, socialise, and have fun.
Supporting a vital rescue mission in Alicante: Helping the animals at the shelter
Behind the fun lies a critical mission. Las Reinas del Biberón operates primarily through a network of temporary foster homes dedicated to rescuing, nursing, and rehabilitating abandoned animals, and in particular puppies and dogs, across the region of Alicante. Events like BiberSplash serve as a major lifeline for the organisation. The organisation also hosts a weekly charity breakfast and a variety of other events, which frequently draw members of the community and raise funds that go directly to the cats and dogs at the shelter.
How ticket sales directly save animal lives
Every €20 ticket sold directly funds essential veterinary treatments, vaccinations, specialised milk for orphaned puppies, daily nutrition, and other rescue operations needed to sustain these animals until their forever homes are found. Proceeds will also support their broader long-term project to construct a dedicated animal shelter.
How to book your spot for the event
Spaces for the event are limited to ensure a comfortable experience for all guests, so advance registration is strongly advised for interested visitors. Tickets can be purchased online through the association’s official web portal at lasreinasdelbiberon.org/eventos. For additional details or general event inquiries, interested attendees can contact the organisers directly through their official WhatsApp contact number at T. 644 14 69 49.
This September, residents in El Campello can both make a splash and make a difference for the adorable and gentle animals at the shelter.
