A local charity supporting people across the Region of Murcia has donated €2,000 to Fundación RafaPuede, a San Javier-based organisation using 3D printing to make everyday tasks easier for people with disabilities and other needs.
A €2,000 donation for disability support
The foundation uses 3D printing technology to produce innovative items tailored to individual requirements. These creations can help people carry out everyday activities that might otherwise prove difficult, offering practical solutions adapted to their specific circumstances.
Cathie and Debbie, representatives of HELP Murcia Mar Menor, visited the foundation a few weeks before the donation was announced. During their visit, they met Rafa and Carmen, who explained the organisation’s work and demonstrated some of the items it has produced.
The representatives described Fundación RafaPuede as a very worthy cause, recognising the difference its work can make to neighbours in the Costa Calida area who need support.
HELP Murcia Mar Menor supports the community
Founded in 2002, HELP Murcia Mar Menor is a non-profit organisation providing assistance to people facing difficulties across the region. Its work includes helping residents and non-residents with problems relating to life in Spain, offering information and recommendations, and lending mobility equipment such as wheelchairs and walking aids.
The charity raises money through donations, fundraising activities and its HELP Outlet shop on Avenida de la Unión in San Javier. The outlet sells donated goods to help finance its charitable activities and support other worthwhile causes in the community.
HELP also welcomes new volunteers and members who want to contribute to its work.
How to support the charities and stay active in the community
