Celine has been living in Spain for just a week but already feels at home as she integrates into the local community.

Born in the Netherlands but spending the past five years living in Belgium, Celine moved to Valencia to work in customer experience service. She admitted that like many other expats, her decision was influenced by “the weather and the relaxing lifestyle.

Despite being so new to Spain, Celine is already learning Spanish and assures that it is “really easy,” highlighting the expansive offers of Spanish lessons. She revealed that she felt impressed by the internationality of Spain, especially in Valencia: “I would recommend moving to Valencia to anyone who would like to expand their international network.”

Celine´s friend group extends to people from Spain, Italy, France, England, Iraq and more. She was also charmed by Valencia´s infrastructure: “Valencia is so diverse with the park, the beach, the old city and shopping centres. Everything you need is here: I love it!”

She confessed that moving was also rather easy: “I am arranging my paperwork with my “gestoria” and it’s going really well. They assist me with everything and it speeds up the process.”

Excited about her future in Spain, Celine can already imagine her life here and looks forward to discovering the culture and lifestyle of the new country.
