The Norwegian Club – upcoming events in Costa Blanca

Costa Blanca´s Norske Klubben (The Norwegian Club) is the home of the local Norwegian community which unites friends to lead a unique Norwegian lifestyle with a Mediterranean touch.

Every weekday, from 10am until 2pm, the Club welcomes visitors with daily programmes including everything from wine tasting to education and group trips through the Costa Blanca region.

For the upcoming celebration of the Norwegian Constitution Day, the members of the Club are meeting in Alfas del Pi on May 17 with the municipal festive programme.

On the same day, a wine tasting by BOPRE will take place in the Club, this time focusing on the unique wine from the Bodega Finca Monastasia y Garcia Arevalo.

On May 18, from 6.30pm, a jam session invites all music lovers to take part, especially lovers of jazz. Costa Blanca´s Norwegian Club has its own house band, Sunny Street Jazz Band, which continues to delight visitors with exceptionally joyful performances.

On May 21, Spanish lessons will be held by the passionate and lively teacher, Pilar, to help the Nordic integration into the Spanish community. Lessons for advanced Spanish speakers will take place from 10.45am until 12.45pm, followed by a session for beginners from 12.45pm until 2.45pm.

On May 22, from 10am until 12.15pm, a yoga session by Henriette will invite all visitors to discover the benefits of the practise, through yin/yan yoga, mat training and meditation.
